A number of brigades took part today providing volunteer assistance running the CareFlight Woodford to Glenbrook Bike & Fun Run. Cool to start the day became sunny and very pleasant drawing out crows of families and friends to watch the bikes finish early followed by the runners down the 25 kilometres of fire trail from Woodford to Euroka Clearing in the Glenbrook National Park. One of roles was Community Engagement which gave us the opportunity to chat to the parents while the kids climbed all over the fire trucks. A great day had by all and for a great cause, CareFlight.
