With this wild weather around and it getting worse tonight, please remember to ring 132500 if you need assistance with any storm damage to your property, or dial 000 if it’s a life threatening situation.

Looks like we’re in for some wet and wild weather this coming weekend. The BOM has issued a Severe Weather warning for heavy rain, damaging winds and flash flooding. The BOM has also issued a flood watch for many rivers along the coast of NSW including Nepean River with a possible Minor to Moderate Flood. This is all due to a development of an East Coast Low which will form along the Queensland/NSW border and track Southwards during Sunday. We will post more developments later.

FYI – Winmalee 1A, 1B and RP445 have responded to reports of Bush alight in Yellow Rock. Crews have investigated and found it to be a pile burn being conducted. Crews have now returned to their respective stations.
